Chris premiered the new Jazz Violin Concerto by Sir John Dankworth with his quartet & the Nottingham Youth Orchestra on March 1st 2008 at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham. The new music received a glorious reception from a near capacity crowd. To top things off Sir John made a surprise appearance in joining the jazz band, orchestra & choir for Chris' rollocking A Train score. All this on a borrowed instrument after John's own sax was sadly stolen earlier in the day.

Chris performed Piazzolla's Les Cuatro Estaciones Portenas (Four Seasons for Buenes Aries) with the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Barry Wordsworth at the Royal Festival Hall in February, using a violin by Spiritus Sorsana 1731 from the Royal Academy of Music's Italian Collection.

Also in February Chris featured in the 80th birthday concert of Dame Cleo Laine & Sir John Dankworth with the LSO at the Barbican. Read the review from The Telegraph

Chris' Homage To Grappelli have recorded their first album at Chris Braclik's idylic Soundtrack Productions in deepest Oxfordshire. Release is set for Autumn '07.

The Angelo Debarre Quartet sets out in 2008 on a launch-tour heralding the new live album recorded over two magical nights at London's legendary Le Quecumbar

A new album by Alec Dankworth entitled Spanish Accentsfeatures Phil Robson (g) Mark Miralta (d) Julian Arguelles (s) & Chris (v) is out on Basho Records. Look out for 2008 dates.

Chris continues to collaborate with Russian vocal virtuoso Marina Laslo. A jazz-styled album, featuring players like Dave Hartley, Guy Barker & Phil Todd, and second one, of rare Russian Romances are both in the creation process.

Chris continues into his third year as professor of jazz violin at the Royal College of Music in London.

Chris wrote a special masterclass on the tune Donna Lee for the Strad magazine (September issue). January 2006 saw Chris on the cover of The Strad complete with a six-page interview.

Homage to Grappelli, firewire, Marzipan, Four Spirits and At the Dimming of the Day are distributed in the UK by New Note Pinnacle.
